1. The Short Version

Every image on Matchday Germany is generated by artificial intelligence. None of them is a photograph. The articles are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a person before publication.

We tell you this on the page you are reading, in the imprint, in the footer of every page, and on each image itself. That is a deliberate choice, not a legal minimum.

2. Images

The stadium exteriors, terraces, streets and matchday crowds shown on this site are AI-generated renderings. They are made to convey the atmosphere a place has, not to document how it looked on a particular evening.

What follows from that:

• No image records a real match, a real moment, or a real event. Nothing on this site is evidence that something happened.
• The people visible in crowd scenes do not exist. They are not photographs of supporters, and no identifiable individual is depicted.
• Where a rendering resembles a real stadium, treat details — the architecture, the signage, the layout of the stands — as an impression rather than an accurate record. Do not rely on an image to find your way around a venue.
• Banners, flags and other supporter displays are invented. They are not reproductions of the displays of any particular club or supporters' group.

Each image carries a visible AI-generated image marker that links back to this page. This is the disclosure required by Article 50(4) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act), which has applied since 2 August 2026.

3. Articles

The cultural essays, club profiles and matchday guides on this site are drafted with AI assistance and then read, corrected and released by Aaron Akrutat, who takes editorial responsibility for what is published.

AI-drafted text can state things confidently and still be wrong. Two rules follow from that, and we hold ourselves to both:

• No quotations without a source. Where a person is quoted or their view described, a verifiable source is named. If we cannot source it, we do not attribute it.
• Facts carry a date. League membership, stadium capacities, prices and travel information change. Where such information appears, we state when it was last verified.

4. Practical Information

Prices, capacities, transport connections and ticketing advice on this site are orientation values, not guarantees. Before you travel, confirm anything that matters against the official channels of the club, the stadium operator and the local transport authority. Those sources are binding; this site is not.

5. What We Do Not Do

• We do not generate images of real, identifiable people, and we do not put words into the mouths of real people.
• We do not reproduce club crests, sponsor marks or other protected logos, whether photographed or generated.
• We do not present generated images as documentary photography anywhere on this site.

6. Reporting a Problem

If an image or an article on this site misrepresents a place, a club, a supporters' group or a person — or if you believe a rendering comes too close to protected material — please tell us at contact@matchdaygermany.com. We will review it and, where the objection is justified, correct or remove the content.
