Stadium
MHPArena
The MHPArena sits in a natural bowl in Bad Cannstatt, surrounded by green hills, the Cannstatter Wasen and Stuttgart's wider NeckarPark district.
The stadium has been rebuilt and modernised several times and hosted matches during the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Its open setting and broad sightlines make it one of Germany's more scenic matchday venues.
Cannstatter Kurve
The active supporter end of the stadium, with standing terraces, flags, banners and continuous singing.
Main Stand
A seated area with excellent views, strong facilities and greater comfort for families and first-time visitors.
NeckarPark Setting
The stadium sits beside the Cannstatter Wasen fairground and within Stuttgart's wider sports and event district.

The Cannstatter Kurve leads the way.
The Cannstatter Kurve is the source of the loudest support and the emotional heart of the stadium. Flags, banners and songs create a strong visual and acoustic presence throughout the match.
Stuttgart's fanbase carries a proud south-western identity and has supported the club through championships, relegations and immediate returns to the Bundesliga.
Pre-Match Tradition
Flags rise in the south.
As the teams emerge, the Cannstatter Kurve raises its flags and the rest of the stadium joins the club's pre-match songs. For major fixtures, the noise spreads quickly around the entire arena.
Big Southern Nights
Matches against Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund and Karlsruher SC bring an additional level of intensity to the stadium.
Getting There
Ten minutes from the city centre.
From Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof, take the S-Bahn S1, S2, S3 or S4 to Cannstatter Wasen, or use the U1 towards Bad Cannstatt.
The walk from Cannstatter Wasen to the stadium takes around ten minutes.
Total travel time from Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof is usually around 10–15 minutes.
From Stuttgart Airport, take the S2 or S3 to Hauptbahnhof and continue towards Cannstatter Wasen. Allow approximately 35–45 minutes.
Parking is available in the NeckarPark area, but spaces fill quickly and traffic around Bad Cannstatt can become heavily congested.

Early arrival gives you time to explore the Cannstatter Wasen, visit the VfB fan shop and experience the build-up around the NeckarPark.

S-Bahn and U-Bahn services back to the city centre are frequent but crowded after the final whistle. Waiting around 20 minutes can make the journey more comfortable.
Stuttgart's city centre, Königstraße and the surrounding pedestrian streets remain lively after matches. Local wine bars and Besenwirtschaften provide a distinctly regional post-match experience.
